Celebrating Women’s History Month
Kate Keith | Lundeen Brothers Ford
What you are doing in the community to make history?
We are providing $1000 scholarships. One being for minority students only. We will be offering this scholarship at 2 different High schools. (This will be our first year, in hopes for many years to come). We have donated $50 per vehicle sale in the months of November and December for the past 2 years to our local food shelf. This year we were able to donate $3,800.
We also tithe monthly to our local church. We are so grateful to be able to share in spreading the Gospel.
How have your actions impacted your ethnic customer base?
Being a female minority Ford store in a predominately white community has given us an opportunity to bridge any prejudices
or preconceived notions about women and minorities through building relation-ships and honest business dealings with our customers.
How did it make your feel?
Growing up in a small town and being a minority has shaped who I am today. The difficulties and struggles I have had to endure have taught me so much. I am grateful at how society is changing for the better, but with the recent targeting of
Asian Americans, I realize we still have a long way to go.
What are you most proud of as a result of this accomplishment?
I am so thankful that we are able to provide in all of these areas. My hope is to build up strong minority leaders and provide great opportunities for these children and families. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to share with you who we are at Lundeen Brothers Ford!!

What you are doing in the community to make history?
We are always giving back to our surrounding communities, especially those that are under-served. We aim to donate 10% of profits back to communities as well as we serve with our time through various organizations.
How have your actions impacted your ethnic customer base?
People see us a s a safe place. They know we try hard to assist them and get them back on track so that they can come back again. We are trustworthy and honest.
How did it make your feel?
It’s always great to hear that you have positively impacted someone. The best is from a kid in school who said he wanted to be the owner of Sutton Ford when he grew up.
What are you most proud of as a result of this accomplishment?
The fact that we get to “serve”. We are here on this earth to serve and you can still do it at a “for profit”business. We bless people daily from our employees to our customers and to know that you are saving souls daily is a blessing.
